So how can you get out of a rut and overcome bad habits? The first thing you must do is understand complex feedback loops. Jordan B Peterson explains them wonderfully in his book 12 rules for life: An antidote for chaos.

His analogy of the formation of an alcoholic in rule 1 is what inspired this video. The steps for escaping the feedback loop were however created by me.
